Site Safety
Coolclean is leading the way in site safety
Here at Coolclean, our motto is simple: Workplace safety is non-negotiable, no matter what industry, no matter how small the task. We take our responsibility to the safety and wellbeing of our workers, contractors, visitors, and customers very seriously and are committed to achieving a zero-harm workplace.
Our quality management system
Our Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Management System [OHSEMS] aims to incorporate practical compliance to all aspects of our business operations in accordance with current Australian standards and are based on ISO 9001: 2015 certification. Adapting these same principles and procedures provides a framework of quality control, designed to enable safe and environmentally responsible operations across the whole of our business.
At Coolclean, we understand that safety is not just a matter of ticking a box. Safety is our culture, the very cornerstone to our operations, our organisation, our staff, and most importantly our brand. Because at the end of the day, we believe everybody deserves the right to go home to their loved ones..
To ensure the maximum safety of our employees and customers we foster a culture where safety is at the forefront of everything we do. From the moment we step foot on-site, we conduct a full risk assessment to identify any hazards specific not just to the task at hand, but to the environment we are working in.
Cooling equipment must be inspected regularly to avoid
dangerous fan failures – Could cause injury
Mould and bacteria growth in a fan coil unit located in a food
manufacturing facility – Cleaning is critical
Permit are required for hot and cold work – Confined space entry – Working at Height – JSEA – SWMS
First aide training level 2 is required for all Coolclean employees
The right tools for the trade
We ensure safe operation on-site at all times, this includes using the right tools and equipment for the right job. For maximum safety, we test and tag all our equipment regularly to ensure compliance and safe operation at all times.
Communication is key
We use the latest online technology to capture and share worksite information in real-time. Capturing this data electronically allows us to streamline communication and see critical safety information as soon as it’s reported, ultimately improving transparency, and overall communication between all stakeholders.
Our team
We understand the importance of ensuring our workers are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work safely in any environment. Our training programs means all of our technicians are trained to safely work at heights, including EWPs, perform basic risk assessments, enter a confined space to conduct work under an issued permit and perform confined space rescue. We regularly review our training programs to ensure we align with industry best practice.
The bottom line is you need to approach OHS seriously and put some concrete policies, procedures and training in place, because providing a safe and secure workplace for our employees is our number one priority.
